Mohammad Izadpanah Ostad graduated with a B.Sc. (2013) and M.Sc. (2021) in Chemical Engineering from Quchan University of Technology, Iran. During his studies, Mohammad has focused particularly on the development of catalysts with high carbon dioxide conversion capabilities.
After graduation, Mohammad continued to develop MOFs as a research assistant in Quchan University of Technology (2021-2024). In addition to mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, he collaborated with a research institute specializing in the application of Metal-Organic Frameworks in supercapacitors and batteries.
In 2024, Mohammad joined the MemCat project as a PhD student in Dr. Salonen’s research group at Universidade de Vigo (UVigo) to work on the development of nanomaterials for gas separation. In the project, he will work in collaboration with Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and University of Calabria (UNICAL).
